If you flash this firmware, you're likely writing an older firmware to your card than was already on it, and you may brick the card. If this happens, there are a few options. If you have a dual BIOS card, you can boot from the second firmware, get to Windows, then flash your stock firmware back using NVFlash if you backed up your original firmware. If you have access to a second video card, you can also boot with this card and use NVFlash to flash the stock firmware to your 970.
